It is a wine with a well balanced oxidative
ageing, evidencing aromas which are characteristic
of the ageing process in the Douro region. |
| |
It is a digestive of excellence, which
greatly accompanies a good cheese board, as well as
a great variety of dry fruits. In the evening, it can
introduce the dinner flavours when accompanied by soft
cheeses.
It should be served at a temperature of 14º.
In the summer you may cool it for an hour, which
smoothes the alcohol evaporation due to heat, making
this wine very pleasant, without reducing its quality.
